Mevlüt Özkaya, profesyonel mutfak eğitim hayatına Antalya Turizm Otelcilik Lisesi’nde başladı. Kocatepe Üniversitesi Aşçılık Ön Lisans Aşçılık Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. Çalıştığı ilk “şef restoranı” Murat Bozok ile Mimolett Restaurant oldu. Avangart Türk Mutfağı olan Gile Restaurant açılışında Cihan Kıpçak ve Üryan Doğmuş ile çalıştı. Tabla Restaurant’ta “Head Chef” görevini üstlendi. Rudolf Van Nunen yardımcılığını ve Rudolf Restaurant’ın açılışını yaptı. İzmir’de bulunan Mancar Restaurant’ta Yılmaz Öztürk’le çalışmaya başladı. San Sebastian Gastronomika’da Türkiye’yi temsil etmek üzere yer aldı. Lyon’da “Le Durdu”de ve Nantuda İsviçre peynir üretimi yapan mandırada izlenim ve staj yaptı. 2017’de Yılmaz Öztürk’le beraber Mürver Restaurant’ın açılış şefliğini yaptı. 2019’da Fatih Tutak ile Türk Restaurant’ın açılışını yaptı ve bir süre “head chef” ve açılış şefliği görevini üstlendi. 2021 yılından bu yana Mürver Restaurant’ta “Head Chef” görevini sürdürüyor.


Mevlüt Özkaya started his professional culinary education life with Antalya Tourism and Hotel Management High School. He graduated from Kocatepe University Cookery Associate Degree Culinary Department. The first “chef restaurant” he worked for was Mimolett Restaurant with Murat Bozok. He worked with Cihan Kipçak and Üryan Doğmuş at the opening of Gile Restaurant, which is an Avant-garde Turkish Cuisine. He assumed the role of "Head Chef" at Tabla Restaurant. He served as Rudolf Van Nunen's assistant and opened Rudolf Restaurant. He started working with Yılmaz Öztürk at Mancar Restaurant in İzmir. He took part in the team of chefs to represent Turkey in San Sebastian Gastronomika. He did an impression and internship at “Le Durdu” in Lyon and dairy producing Swiss cheese in Nantu. He worked as the opening chef of Mürver Restaurant with Yılmaz Öztürk in 2017. He opened the Turkish Restaurant with Fatih Tutak in 2019 and took the position of head chef and opening chef for a year and a half. He has been working as "Head Chef" at Mürver Restaurant since 2021..
